Bigger badder and no Lilo...

Ain't it Cool said this was more mainstream than the last, that may be true but I doubt my Mother will be attending a screening of this film. Tarantino and Rodriguez should carry on parading and self referencing their films. A film based on a fake trailer from a revived Grindhouse format. Love it. If we could hang out with Freddy Newandyke and Mia Wallace, this is what they would watch.

Hang on, this isn't Machete...

...but it looks like...

...weird. Kind of a poor man's Machete. Might be worth watching if you like Danny Trejo.
But I doubt it.

MORE NEWS! (and rumors)...

Guy Ritchie has expressed interest in directing the adap of DC comics baby; LOBO. Considering the characters somewhat violent exploits in comic land this could be very entertaining...

Post Hobbit Guillermo del Toro has a number of equally fantastical projects that he wants to work on including Frankenstein and a "dark and creepy" version of Pinnochio. Crumbs.
Robert Rodriguez's Machete has an incredible cast including Steven Seagal and...wait for it...Don Johnson!!!!

Ryan Reynolds has signed up for every movie being made including the The Green Lantern and Christian Slater vehicle Paper Man.

Disney have bought Marvel Studios!

No one has an effing clue what Inception is about but all agree it looks interesting and fun.

Megan Fox has signed up for Fathom

And finally Uwe Boll has hung up his directing hat and is turning his hand to pig farming!
See if you can guess which of these is a rumor.

They F@*ked with the wrong Mexican...

Howdy Housers!!!!
As many of you are probably aware Machete is being made into a full length movie. For those of you not aware of that or what the hell I am talking about the afore mentioned hacking implement is actually the title of a "fake" movie that was trailed in between Rodriguez and Tarrantino's Grindhouse feature. Many of you may be scratching your heads in confusion, and rightly so as we viewers over in Blighty didn't get to see the full effect of this glorious idea. The reason being that lots of American people went to the cinema to see the double bill extravaganza got confused, cried a bit and left half way through. As a result the studio thought "here's an idea let's from here on in sell this double bill as two independent features thereby doubling profit!!!!! What could go wrong!!!! What about the trailers???? (dramatic pause) What trailers? mwoooha ha ha!!!!" or something like that any way. You can watch these little snippets of joy on You Tube if you like and when you do answer me this question. Why make Machete when our very own Edgar Wright's trailer for "DON'T" pisses all over the lot of them?
Many Thanks...
