Red, Green & Ember...

Just a quick heads up for anyone who misses the times when kids films were kids films. They were edgy, smattered with innuendo and maybe, just maybe a glimpse of boob. Well good news Zemeckis protoge and director of Monster House Gil Kenan is back. In a marvellously retro feeling film about an underground city on the brink of extinction. With a sturdy cast (Tim Robbins, Mackenzie Crook and Bill Murray) this looks set to be a sleeper hit for kids and adults alike. The story follows two children who live in Ember as they try to discover a way of preventing the sub metropolis' massive generator from failing. To do this they must solve clues and puzzles that are actually a part of the city itself. Strap in for a rip roaring adventure flick from days gone by... no boob though. Dammit!!!
