Woke up this morning to some sad news. Legendary SFX artist Stan Winston has died of cancer at 62. Find the details here. This man was responsible for some of the greatest monsters and FX in cinema history. The Thing, Terminator, Jurassic Park, Aliens, et cetera, et cetera. As a kid I always dreamed of becoming a special-effects artist and Stan Winston was my hero. Thanks for all the cool monsters Stan, you genius.
