This time it's war...

...sort of.

Saw this a while ago but forgot to post.
Remember Alien War in the basement of the Trocadero in London in the 90's? Amazing live action Aliens themed ride, I never really appreciated it in all it's glory - I was more into The Crow and The X-files - but from what I remember it was amazing. Well it's coming back, now called Alien Wars it opened at its original home at the Arches Glasgow back in 2008, it's now in Liverpool at Wirral's spaceport and will run until March 2010.

Don't start booking a coach just yet though, this version, looks like it is still headed by original creators John Gorman and Gary Gillies, but is unrelated to the 20th Century Fox and according to Wikkipidia this new version is modified.

Not sure I'm excited any more. I thought the whole point was to live Cameron's visionary nightmare with Hicks and the team around a failing salvage mission. According to The Alien War Story site there is a documentary on the original exhibition, but this was last updated in 2007 and I can't find anything else about it..

Game over man.
