Right you lot it's time to be cheery. In this time of financial doom and gloom cinema is still doing surprisingly well. It seems like the merry peeps of London actually want to go and see Tom Cruise not attempt a German accent or John Travolta playing a dog whilst being upstaged by a hamster in a ball. There is however even more good news for us Brits in this turbulent time of transaction. Due to the weakness of the pound many big budget productions (stars included) are making their way here. It has long been said that although London is a much sought after location for shooting it was always reserved for the bigger budgeted films. Woody Allen fell in love with the place after his lengthy affair with New York and has shot several films here since.
